MY FAVORITE LINKS

I am not sure what to put in here. I guess I can start with my favorite cartoon, Garfield. The latest link goes on top which is why Garfield is way at the bottom. I will update this list constantly, so, check it out regularly. You'll never know what you'll find the next time you visit my website. P. S. Please share your links. I'd love to hear from you. Here's my e-mail again.

HTML Goodies is where the name says it all. Somehow I think HTML Goodies, Gamelan and Developer.com are relatives cause they share a similar background. *shrug* maybe not. Here are some colors if you want, among other things. And while on the subject of colors, here's another place where I found colors.

The MIDI Home Page tells you what MIDI is and how to make it. And if you're wondering where I got Whitney's "I will always love you" click here. HELP! How do you make the java pretty in Internet Explorer?!(Maybe I should ask my teacher.)

I Will Always Love You-Whitney Houston

BUTTONS! Anyone for buttons? I didn't look through all of the sites yet but try the Pointless Productions thing. It's really pointless but it's there for a laugh, or two. Well, OK maybe that was a bit too pointless. Let me just back out a bit here and try something more serious like this one. Almost all you need for a Web page; compliments of Yahoo!. See! I was even so kind to link the entire sentence.

Andy's page is a site to shop for some icons. You have to buy some stuff but generally you can get stuff for free. I like the Photoshop 5.0 because I am taking a class in Web Design this semester.

50 Odd Search Engines may satisfy your online search needs. I haven't tried all 50 of them because I am quite satisfied using Yahoo! and AltaVista. A quick tip, if you want to search a string of words, a phrase, you should use the quotation marks, for example, if I want to search for the New York Times online, I will type "new york times" (including the quotation marks). Try both and see how many hits for either one. It works for Yahoo!.

Net-Zero offers a free internet access across the U.S. It's running 28.8kbps, which is pretty good for a free internet access . . .

Merriam Webster online is one dictionary that's handy if you need to look something up real quick.

Natural Desktop Themes "are free for the taking, but they are not to be reproduced for profit." So if you would like a touch of nature as your background image, here's some.

Greeting cards. There are several virtual greeting cards online. The ones I normally use are Blue Mountain and 123Greetings. I prefer the former because I need not copy the password when I want to retrieve the card. I'll add more links later. I need to seive through my Bookmark.

"Papers! Papers! . . . Read all about it!": This is one of the very few online Southeast Asian newspapers that I read. Check out NSPi's homepage. It's pretty cool.

Cooking is fun too and if you haven't been to any of these sites, it's worth a visit. I was looking for Malaysian cuisine in particular for the coming Hari Raya Aidil Fitri or Eid-ul-Fitr. Here are more descriptions about Hari Raya in Malaysia and Singapore. | | _1_| | _2_| | _3_| | _4_ | |

Gamelan.com: Oh you must visit this Java site. It's got a lot of goodies you can download like free WWW applets. At the moment I am just going to take a few for fun but I will write my own, I promise!

dRebar is another Malay language site featuring songs, etc., well, I go there to hear songs, Malay songs anyway, like Hari Raya songs. I especially love his Java. He won't share his secrets though.

Pusat Karya Sedunia is a Malay language site featuring poems, RECIPES, stories, essays, among others which should be visited. For those who know the language, don't be fooled by the simplicity of the homepage.

MapQuest is a useful map when I want to find my way around the city, and even other cities, along with other online maps, like MapBlast, Yahoo and Zip2.com.

AutoCAD power user group meetings are held once a month. I am not a member yet but I attended one meeting the last time they had one.

My Brother's homepage is about his car. However, he has cleverly included several free e-mail that you can register, if you haven't already got an e-mail address. Pretty handy . . .

Radio Singapura's connection over the Internet is amazingly clear. I get news from Southeast Asia even though I don't read the online newspapers. Not much of a newspaper person anyway . . .

Blue's Garfield Page has links to more cool Garfield sites.

Garfield Land is the place I used to like. Now, I am not so sure . . .

Big Fat Hairy Deal is dedicated to Garfield fans like me.
